Your arrival marks the beginning of a new day:

New opportunities, new hopes with each ray

Your presence brings me warmth and relief,

After the dullness of a day that has grief

You illuminate me from within

With happiness does my day begin

Is another time with you destined for me?

I wonder in which land that would be

I am thankful for every day that you are here

And when you are not, I know you are near
